Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Manage MRP for assigned suppliers.
- Maintain open communications and monitor performance of assigned suppliers
- Release purchase orders based on consumption levels and demand to meet lead times and cover future requirements based on historical demand and forecast.
- Manage assigned responsibilities and follow processes
- Generate reports & reconcile invoice discrepancies.
- Team Player who can contribute to the overall goals of the team, specifically relating to reaching set targets of parts availability.
- Create & maintain SOP’s & workflow processes for all assigned responsibilities.
- Monitor supplier performance for timely shipping and ability to supply quality parts and accuracy.
- Liaise with other divisions to ensure resolution of any known supplier/material issues
Minimum Qualifications
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.
- High school diploma
- Two years of inventory control, material planning or purchasing experience in a service environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP
- Effective time management and planning skills
- Ability to prioritize and deliver results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP & Material Planning Standards
- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to sit for long periods and review data on computer screen.
- Adept at problem solving and critical thinking.
- A team player with the ability to build & maintain professional relationships
- Basic accounting skills
