We are seeking experienced Asphalt foremen/superintendents/ Workers/Labourers and Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team at Infinity Asphalt for the remainder of the construction season. The goal is to complete essential projects before the winter months. If you have asphalt experience or can operate heavy machinery, we encourage you to apply and help us finish the season strong, and hopefully build a continuing relationship for the next season.
Key Responsibilities:
Asphalt Workers:
- Perform asphalt paving, repair, and maintenance tasks.
- Operate paving machines, rollers, and other equipment necessary for asphalt laying.
- Ensure the quality and smoothness of asphalt surfaces.
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and maintain safety standards.
- Load and unload asphalt materials as needed.
Heavy Equipment Operators:
- Operate heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, front loaders, and graders for site preparation, earthmoving, and paving operations.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Safely operate machinery in line with project specifications and safety guidelines.
- Assist in preparing job sites, including grading and leveling for asphalt application.
- Follow project plans and supervisor instructions to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications:
Asphalt Workers:
- Proven experience working with asphalt paving and maintenance is prefered.
- Familiarity with asphalt machinery and tools.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
Heavy Equipment Operators:
- Valid certifications or licenses for operating heavy machinery (e.g., bulldozers, graders, loaders, etc.).
- Experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and operational protocols for heavy equipment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work long hours to complete projects before the season ends.
- Ability to adapt to changing weather conditions and project needs.
