Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Heavy Equipment Operator to oversee excavation operations and manage a team of 6-12 employees. This role is essential in ensuring safe and efficient job site operations while maintaining compliance with all safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment including excavators, backhoes, mini excavators, skid steers, and compactors.
Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of 6-12 employees on job sites.
Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.
Conduct equipment inspections and perform minor maintenance tasks.
Ensure compliance with overhead and underground hazard avoidance.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
Report any injuries or accidents to the Safety Manager.
Keep job sites clean, organized, and running efficiently.
Provide recommendations for increasing productivity and efficiency.
Potencial in-state travel to Flagstaff.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience operating heavy equipment (excavator, backhoe, mini excavator, skid steer, compactors).
5+ years of experience leading a team of 6-12 employees in a construction setting.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance procedures for heavy equipment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Clean driving record.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $27.00 - $36.00 per hour
