Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Lead to oversee operations and an operator on our crushing sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong aggregate crushing knowledge and hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage site activities, ensuring MSHA safety and efficiency while coordinating with crew members. ****Travel Required - Daily Lodging/Per Diem Paid for travel.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations on the crushing site, ensuring adherence to MSHA safety protocols and project timelines.
Operate various heavy equipment including John Deere and Caterpillar machinery, excavators, loaders, and skid steers as needed.
Oversee the operation of water trucks and other support vehicles to facilitate site activities.
Coordinate with team members to move materials, and perform necessary crushing site responsibilities.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
Provide training and guidance to crew members on equipment operation and MSHA safety practices.
Maintain clear communication regarding progress, and production outcomes.
Create daily production and scale reports as required.

Qualifications

12 Months of Aggregate Crushing Expertise
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a crushing environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation.
Proficiency in operating John Deere and Caterpillar machinery, Excavators, loaders, and skid steers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
