Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Laborer and Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the installation and maintenance of pipes and street lighting systems, operating heavy machinery and performing manual labor as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, backhoes, and loaders) safely and efficiently.
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes and street lighting systems.
- Perform site preparation, including digging trenches and clearing debris.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in labor or equipment operation preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., CDL).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
