BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
Coordinates special Parts sales events and programs ensuring that the KTC Marketing Department and all of the KTC Regional Sales Managers are informed and involved. Indirectly, the Parts Marketing Manager provides consultative guidance to the KTC Dealer network and the Parts sales representatives. Ensures assigned market meets established quotas and objectives in Parts sales and Parts service levels.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
- Reviews, analyzes, evaluates executive sales initiatives for the KTC Parts Marketing efforts.
- Designs, plans, implements and manages the KTC Parts strategic marketing efforts, policies and procedures; manages marketing, sales and systems development to implement business initiatives.
- Directs, establishes, plans and implements the overall policies for Parts web marketing strategy; identifies, negotiates and manages strategic relationships with content and technological partners.
- Consults with dealers/users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
- May be required to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections.
- Identifies, reports and exploits Parts marketing opportunities.
- Coordinates marketing activities of the KTC Marketing Manager working in partnership with the
- Division Manager and KTC Regional Sales Managers.
- Responds to internal and external Parts sales operations issues.
- All other requests pertaining to their Division Manager and the KTC Parts Marketing Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND TRAINING:
Bachelor’s degree; 5 years experience; good statistical skills; good understanding of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the sales and marketing disciplines; SAP level 2 required
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:
- Strong parts operational background.
- Must be able to perform without direct supervision.
- Must be able to lead, direct and be responsible for the work of others.
- Must have good creativity skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access.
- Must be able to motivate and inspire.
- Thorough understanding of the latest technology trends and marketing methods and techniques.
- Self-motivated.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Ability to produce quality work with limited supervision.
- Team oriented, but works well alone, flexible and willingly accepts more responsibility as the job conditions change or objectives evolve.
