We produce cordless irrigation systems, blowers, equipment to assist with tree maintenance, lawn mowers, garden vehicles, trenchers. In general, irrigation systems and outdoor solutions. What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career at The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Maintenance and programming of Automatic Insertion equipment, Axial, Radial and IC components.
Electromechanical control based on computers, PLCs, Panel Views, Servo Control, etc.
Mechanical design Solidworks & Autocad.
Extensive knowledge in PLCs, Microcontrollers, electrical and electronic control.
Maintenance and programming of assembly equipment (testers, welders, robots)
Responsible for updating maintenance routines.
Update and create equipment maintenance plans.
Design of Experiments (DOE) Development
Directly participates in achieving the efficiency and waste objectives of the Business Unit.
Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance and forecasting plans
Ensure efficient troubleshooting and repair of critical equipment to minimize production downtime.
Supervise the technical maintenance team.
Encourage professional development and ongoing training of team members.
Coordinate the acquisition of tools, spare parts and equipment necessary for maintenance activities.
Optimize costs and manage the department's budget effectively.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTTR (mean time to repair), MTBF (mean time between failures), and equipment availability.
Propose and execute continuous improvement initiatives based on the analysis of data and results.
Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to align goals.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
Reduced downtime on production lines.
Development and compliance with maintenance schedules.
Building Maintenance Knowledge (Plus)

What do you need?
To be considered for this position, an individual must meet the following minimum requirements:
B.S. Electronics, Mechatronics, Electro mechanics or related with 5 years of experience in a similar position
Production Equipment Design
Technical Knowledge in Equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, etc.
Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS) and tools for fault diagnosis
Communication skills at all levels
ISO 9000
Programming languages
Project Management
Microsoft Office
Lean Standard Work
