My grading and paving client is looking to bring on a talented Utility Equipment Operator to join their dynamic team!

Full time, direct hire!
Salary range: $28/hr-$34/hr
Day to day duties:
Supervise and coordinate crews performing underground utility
installations, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and utility locates to
ensure accurate installations.
Operate heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, rollers, backhoes)
when necessary to assist the crew.
Plan and delegate daily tasks to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Conduct safety meetings and enforce compliance with OSHA 30
regulations and company safety protocols.
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues related to underground
utilities, including conflicts with existing infrastructure.
Ensure all work meets local codes, specifications, and project
requirements.
Monitor and manage materials, equipment, and workforce to maintain
project schedules and budgets.
Collaborate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors to
coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
Maintain accurate daily reports, including progress tracking, crew
hours, and any incidents
Must Have’s:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating multiple types of
construction equipment, recent and in same position
Proficiency with excavators, loaders, rollers, dozers, and skid steers is
required.
Valid OSHA 30 certification (mandatory).
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and blueprints.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in all weather
conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
Nice to have:
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
