Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Equipment Operators to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites. The candidate must be a team player who is willing to work on the ground with a shovel with the rest of the team. Motivation to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and safely is required. This role is crucial for maintaining the workflow and productivity of our operations, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects.
* Must have reliable transportation to and from project sites.
Travel.
We are licensed in Nevada and Arizona. A willingness to travel will increase your opportunity for growth and advancement in the company.
Experience
We require at least 1 year of experience in a high volume, fast paced, heavy equipment grading environment. Individuals with multiple years of experience on any or all of the following equipment preferred:
- Blade. Rough grading and fine grading. Please include the make and models you have operated and the number of years of experience you have operating this equipment.
- Dozer. Demolition, rough grading and fine grading. Please include the make and models you have operated and the number of years of experience you have operating this equipment.
- Loader. Demolition, rough grading and fine grading. Please include the make and models you have operated and the number of years of experience you have operating this equipment.
- Scrapers. Rough grading and fine grading. Please include the make and models you have operated and the number of years of experience you have operating this equipment.
- Excavator. Demolition, excavation and rock hammering. Please include the make and models you have operated and the number of years of experience you have operating this equipment.
- Water Truck. Water Pulls. License, dust cards, mass grading and fine grading. Please include the make and models you have operated and the number of years of experience you have operating this equipment.
- Roller. Mass grading and fine grading. Please include the make and models you have operated and the number of years of experience you have operating this equipment.
- Grade Checker. Mass grading and fine grading. Please include the make and models you have operated and the number of years of experience you have operating this equipment.
- Fueler, Oiler. License. Please include the make and models you have operated and the number of years of experience you have operating this equipment.
License and Certification Requirements
- Driver' License and Social Security Card
- CDL's for water truck operation
- OSHA 10 (required)
- OSHA 30 (Preferred) Nevada
- Dust Certification (Preferred)
Skills & Duties
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety in all operational tasks.
- Operator is responsible for the daily inspections and maintenance as part of the pre and post check protocols.
- Ability to read plans and understand survey stakes, grades, processing of materials to gain compaction, the use of grids and stabilizing chemical agents and an understanding of soil reports and soil types.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.

Pay: $18.00 - $65.00 per hour
