We are looking for a motivated and qualified Precision Technology Specialist to be a part of a team that will support the organization’s goals in cutting edge precision technology. This position will also support the sales department with the latest technology in agriculture and construction equipment. Responsibilities
- Actively promote the sale and use of precision technology systems (Raven, Outback, Trimble, etc.)
- Install, optimize, inspect, trouble shoot and repair precision equipment.
- Offer training for growers and other precision specialists and technicians on proper use.
- Primary point of contact for all precision technology inquiries before and after the sale.
- Promote return on investment – labor savings, lowering input costs, environmental benefits, data collection.
- Support the sales team when selling precision technology on new or used machines – as well as assist the customer with training.
Preferred Requirements
- Technology and equipment background: agricultural, construction.
- Degree in technology, agricultural engineering, agronomy, or agricultural business.
- Enjoys working with and advancing new technology.
- Positive attitude, friendly and welcoming demeanor, strong team player.
- Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Commitment to department goals and profitability.
- Must have basic tools.
