The team - Charging and Infrastructure Solution - C&IS
We are a function within Volvo Energy where we develop Battery Electric Vehicle/Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles Charging and infrastructure solutions in conjunction with Business Area’s and partners. We work by lobbying and advocacy, legislation monitoring, charging infrastructure partnerships and associations to create and accelerate industry standardization and roll-out for charging.

 

We jointly simplify the electrification transformation for our customers and the society as well as accelerate the journey towards 100% fossil free and in doing so, support Volvo Group’s sustainability target.

 
What are we looking for in this specific role?
As Charging Services Manager you will contribute to the execution of the Volvo Group charging services long-term roadmap. You aim to ensure that we deliver services with high customer value and profitability potential to our overall business. 


We believe the successful candidate has experience from services strategy and development, with focus on the commercial aspects. This role entails a variation of tasks so it is important to have the ability to quickly grasp the context and address issues at hand. This is also new territory, so it is important that you are flexible and curious, with the ability to identify new areas and solve ongoing problems simultaneously.

 

This role will support the evolvement of the public charging service portfolio through long-term plans for the charging services, as well as focus on activities that create and follow-up scalability and profitable growth for the charging solutions.

 

Main responsibilities and Activities
•    Deliver commercial input in development streams. 
•    Drive the Public C&IS strategy cycle, support develop, consolidate long term roadmaps.
•    Manage strategic intelligence activities to build business insights for charging infrastructure services, trends to enable strategy and business decision making. 
•    Help identify key strategic programs towards new business, services models.
•    Manage and evaluate portfolio data assisting strategic decision-making and go-to-market process support.
•    Interpret business strategy to determine charging infrastructure features and solutions with the TD& BA organizations
•    Support anchoring process for business requirements with the TD&BA organizations
•    Support long term strategic projects with competence when required
•    Perform and support pre-studies to determine business value for customers
•    Communicate content and features to Internal and External stakeholders.
•    Provide support to Sales argumentation & Information to market (ITM)

Qualifications likely required to be successful
•    Experience from Services business and development
•    Customer and commercial focus and drive
•    Competence in user interactions and UX/UI
•    Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent business experience.
•    Competitor analysis and benchmark experience
•    Drive and ambition to develop, and get things done – a proactive and can-do mindset
•    Excellent presentation and communication skills
•    Fluent in English
