What you will do
As a Chief Project Manager (Lead PM) within the MMD Engineering & Range team, you will play a pivotal role in securing product solutions of varying scale and scope. You will be guided by key stakeholders and Technology Roadmap/Plans specific to the Mack Medium Duty.
You will be leading cross-functional teams to deliver product, aftermarket, industrial, purchasing and market solutions.
Distinct responsibilities include:
- Coach your project team(s) to overcome obstacles while achieving its objectives
- Drive MMD initiatives from conception to industrialization to project closure
- Establish & Drive the Project Plans with a focus on the enablers of key milestones
- Lead cross-functional team towards balanced solutions while meeting QDCF
- Quality: Deliver Quality for both Project and Product
- Delivery: Deliver on-time
- Cost: Project and Product cost targets are met
- Features: Achieve established feature targets for project scope (e.g. Reliability, Durability, etc...)

We are responsible for developing the MMD Products and Driving the Projects from concepts through industrialization. This position is in Greensboro, North Carolina, and reports to the Director of MMD Engineering & Range.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
- 8-12+ years of related experienced
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- An established network within the Volvo Group, is preferred.
