Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Director, Business Transformation to contribute to the team. The Director, Business Transformation will lead key projects that drive business performance as part of the Terex Operating System. The Terex Operating System is our newly created common framework across the company to drive process excellence for meeting our objectives and achieving our strategy as we migrate towards an integrated operating company. The Terex Operating System will ensure strict process discipline is deployed into all key work processes while still allowing our business segments the flexibility to operate to their individual market needs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Initiative Development
- Identify and prioritize Terex Operating System key strategic initiatives in collaboration with corporate and business executive leadership team members
- Asses market trends and business opportunities to ensure identified initiatives are top priorities for driving predictability, enabling growth, and effective managing costs across the business
Project Oversight
- Fully lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, on-scope, and on-budget
Business Process Standardization
- Development and deployment of best practices across different Terex businesses and facilities
- Ensuring key work processes are aligned with established Terex Operating System guidelines
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders from the individual team member-level up to the senior executive leadership team
- Effectively communicate regular progress updates and outcomes to key stakeholders through establishing effective data-driven visual management and dashboards
Performance Monitoring
- Establish relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategic initiatives such as forecast accuracy, net working capital, planning efficiency, synergy realization, and fixed cost %
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making, measure process, and adjust strategy deployments as needed
Change Management
- Lead all change management efforts associated with Terex Operating System strategic initiatives to support successful implementation
- Facilitate the adoption of new operational practices and systems across the organization
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with various departments at the corporate and business segment level (i.e. finance, IT, HR, product management, operations, supply chain, legal, etc) to ensure successful alignment and execution
M&A and Integration
- Support Terex Inorganic Growth strategy as required to deliver on financial targets
- Work closely with Terex Corporate Development team to support deal pipeline and tracking
- Function as core M&A diligence and/or integration team member as part of the Terex Operating System model as required by deal activity
- Assist in training business segment teams on Terex standard diligence and/or integration process
Learning & Assessment
- Continuously and systematically identify opportunities for process improvement as part of the Terex Operating System
- Ensure highest-impact items are prioritized for action based on cost vs benefit analysis
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field from accredited university
- Minimum 10 years’ progressive leadership experience in strategic planning, business development, project management, or related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and influence at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to capture insights to inform decision-making
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate cross-functional teams to action
- Demonstrated understanding of Lean principles, business systems, and process design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Financial Reporting, ERP, and Dashboard systems
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken across cultures, time zones, and styles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be willing to travel as required (up to 25%)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Master’s degree or MBA
- Prior experience in a director-level position is highly desirable
- Prior experience in industrial manufacturing OEM market or company
- Prior experience leading organization through transformation journeys
- Strong familiarity with AI technologies and software tools to automate key business processes
- Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and tools to drive execution
Salary: The salary range for this position is $145,000 - 170,000 annually. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and/or long-term incentive.
