Job Description: Texas Frac, situated in northern Texas, specializes in producing sand for the foundry, glass, construction, and frac sand markets. With a commitment to quality and innovation, Texas Frac is a key contributor to the industries it serves.
The Mine Equipment Operator is responsible for operations of mobile equipment and wash and/or dry plant operations. Employees are expected to operate all equipment in a safe manner. As a result, basic mechanical skills are required for maintenance of equipment and assistance to overall plant maintenance.
Job Requirements: Key Responsibilities:
- Operate mobile equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, haul trucks, skid loaders, and screeners.
- Manage wash and dry plant startup and shutdown procedures.
- Perform general labor tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in mobile equipment operation.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders multiple times daily.
- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Flexibility to work extended schedules, including overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
- Knowledge of mining safety and environmental regulations.
- Willingness to be cross-trained for additional responsibilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Engage in physical activities such as standing, squatting, kneeling, and making visual inspections.
- Must wear personal protective equipment as needed.
