Gillmann Services is seeking a skilled Boom Lift Operator for a full time position in Atlanta Georgia Area
*** MUST BE NCCCO / TSS CERTIFIED and have documentation***
This is a 10 Month Project
Boom Truck Drivers operate heavy machinery to transport, load, and unload materials. Responsibilities include ensuring safe delivery, adhering to traffic laws, and performing routine vehicle maintenance. Tasks involve precise maneuvering and navigation.
Responsibilities:
- Operate boom trucks to lift, move, and place heavy materials and equipment
- Inspect the condition of the truck, its equipment, and materials to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Secure loads, checking weight distribution and balance to prevent shifting and damage to the truck
- Follow established routes, signals, and traffic rules while driving the truck
- Maintain records of materials transported, including their type and quantity
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
- Communicate with other workers on the job site to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Ensure that the boom truck is properly cleaned and maintained

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Heavy equipment operation: 1 year (Preferred)
- Commercial construction: 1 year (Preferred)
- Boom lift: 5 years (Required)
- NCCCO / TSS Certified: 5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
