Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. Operators will need to have a variety of different machine seat time. The ability to run finish grade on a skid steer and dozer is helpful. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation and safety protocols, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Caterpillar equipment in a safe and respectful manner.
Perform digging and bulldozing tasks to prepare construction sites for building.
Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery on-site.
Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed, ensuring proper handling and storage.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to site cleanliness standards.

Requirements

Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, bulldozers, skid steers, and excavators
Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety regulations.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and maneuvering heavy machinery.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A valid driver's license is preferred; certification for operating specific machinery is a plus.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing job requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Experience:

Heavy equipment operation: 3 years (Preferred)
