Company mechanics diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair company heavy equipment. Our Field Mechanics regularly remove, repair, or replace components on engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air systems, fuel systems, transmissions and other power train related systems. Field tests heavy equipment after repairs are completed confirming the quality of repairs and machine is ready to be placed back onto production. Work with hand wrenches, hammers, impact tools, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, basic measuring tools, overhead hoists, slings and chains, electrical testing tools, hydraulic testing tools, and numerous other adjusting tools. Accurately and timely submit work orders, fuel reports, parts requisitions, meter readings and timesheets to the office.

Minimum Qualifications: Three years field experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment used in heavy-civil and/or mining industries. Must be able to read and understand heavy equipment manuals along with oil and cross reference guides. Minimum Class B, CDL. HAZMAT and Tanker endorsement preferred. Must have clean MVR. Pass pre-employment drug and fitness test prior to working. Furnish own tools.
